We received a call from a customer in Niceville, FL wanting us to look at their pool enclosure. After years of going untouched, the screen enclosure was overdue for some love and care. The homeowners were also interested in having some framing redone on the screened porch that is attached to the pool enclosure. After discussing the issues with the homeowners and providing a plan of action they chose to proceed with our estimate and our screen project commenced!
Enclosure re-screen
After discussing the desires for the pool enclosure space with the homeowners we proceeded to re-screen the enclosure with a standard 18/14 ADFORS charcoal screen weave on the walls in addition to a 20/20 ADFORS insect screen on the roof.
Enclosure refresh
The pool enclosure had a large amount of mold and mildew from a lack of sun exposure mixing with a moist environment. Our team utilized low-pressure pressure washing treatment options and was able to restore the screen enclosure to resemble its original condition. We also replaced the screws in the purlins and gusset areas of the roof beams so the enclosure would be more aesthetically pleasing. The last part of our refresh was to install new door kits (door closer, door handles, and bug sweeps) on the existing screen doors. We also replaced various pieces of kickplate in the bottom of the screen doors where applicable.
